There are 2 faculty members and 1 research assistant in the Department of Construction. In undergraduate and graduate programs, training is provided in the fields of structure and materials mechanics, building design, earthquake engineering, structural dynamics, steel structure design, reinforced concrete structure design, strengthening of existing reinforced concrete and masonry buildings, engineering properties of building materials, advanced concrete technology and building management. There are laboratories in the field of structure and materials in the department of construction. In these laboratories, it is aimed to carry out experiments on various mechanical and durability properties of concrete and concrete components, as well as reinforced concrete and steel structure systems. There are master's and doctoral studies on current research topics in concrete technology regarding building materials. In the field of structural engineering, many ongoing master's and doctoral studies are carried out on the design of reinforced concrete and steel structures, strengthening of existing structures, and their analysis and behavior under the influence of earthquakes.
